As a Syrian, born and raised on the island of Trinidad, storytelling was second nature to me and growing up listening to relatives tells stories of times past was important.   I started out singing and playing music and later, it evolved into a love for dramatic arts after moving to America. The dramatic arts offers us a perfect arena where stories remain alive.

My diverse background gives me an ear for dialects and allows me to appear in some amazing shows such as: Law and Order SVU, ABE, Falcon and the Winter Soldier and 3Body Problem, playing both native and non-native English speakers.  A short film,  Uzma The Greatest, where I played Uzma,  showcased at prestigious festivals and won at Sun Valley Film Festival.
